Saved From Cancer

The day he was diagnosed,
Cancer he was found to be ailing from,
It had attacked his maturing intestines,
And caused pain too much to bare,
At first because of so many rumors,
He thought cancer a death sentence to be,
He wasn't so strong to fight it then,
And so, much of his energy it drained.
He gave up on his healthy life,
A lot of weight departed his body,
Wrinkles started showing up on his face,
So young he was yet looked very old,
Medication he completely refused to take,
As silently he sat all day long,
And at night he sacrificed his body to cold,
His death he was eagerly waiting for.
One day as he sat at his usual spot,
Tormented much by the pending departure,
He over-heard a gossip from passers-by,
They talked of a certain whites camp,
Which contained experienced physicians,
With knowledge from abroad,
That these doctors cured every disease,
Much knowledge they had of known ills,
Hope sprang up again,
So a chance he had to live again!
Without a second thought he hastily left,
To the mentioned place of magic he heard,
With determination drawn all over his face,
He reached towards his miracle place.
The queue was long,
The sun was scorching,
The occupants could not prioritize him,
Mean they acted as they sought healing,
With the such tough conditions,
He fell down helplessly and passed out.
When he finally came in,
He found himself on a hospital bed,
In a spacious seemingly expensive ward,
A fluid was channeled into his veins,
He could feel extreme changes in him,
But could not remember what had occured
Neither could he tell where he was.
Later he came to know,
He was in an expensive hospital,
Where he had been taken purposely
For treatment to kill the deadly virus,
By a well wisher, his Samaritan man.
After so many words of encouragement,
He learned that Cancer curable it was,
He changed his mind and set to fight,
Until he successfully defeated cancer,
Though plastic intestines he had,
He was no longer a subject to death.
Then he undoubtedly concluded,
That Cancer a death sentence is not.
