im here to tell you:
i am not.
its a lie, illusion...

my skin is coated in scars
my heart, doubly so
it burns
over and over
like the tears that fall
my cries for help
ignored
talked over
dismissed
my scars covered up
painted over
the stories they tell
never the less
im waiting for my hero
villain?
to take the blade
hug me and love
away the pain.
