school

ever since I was a kid
this and many others I did
when I was in primary
my mornings were wary
a headache on every dawn
that gives me an all day frown
that I must wake up early
to bath feed and be ready
and then I speed off
cursing and in between sobs
to the boring blocks
of concentrated folks
and if it weren't for the land's rule
I'd leave school
