Seaview hospital..

This hospital held many mentally ill children.
In the early 70's, the doctors took in as many as they can and they were on high medicines.
They sat in their feces all day,
Banging their heads on the wall and cradled where ever they stayed.
Nobody cared,
That they were scared.
It was like a hell hole inside,
To many sick children, and nowhere to hide.
The floors were covered with dirt from their clothes.
When someone was in pain, nobody knows.
They were treat like animals gone wild.
For heaven's sake, they were just a child.
Children were screaming and crying.
Half of them looked like they were dying.
What has become of the mentally ill
Back in the 70's, they were uneducated and in the child's mouth, went a pill.
They would leave them rot on the floor,
Watching the movie, I couldn't take no more.
In today's system, they can be outdoors.
With therapy, and meds, maybe more.
Our world today, is so much more advanced and these are the things society today doesn't ignore.
