When the sun shines bright
Warming me up
With its stunning light
The bells on the bikes
Jingle like music in my ear
As they whizz by me
Their destination near
Kids run around me
Laughing and splashing
Chasing after
Each other happily
The hustle and bustle
Of the day is so exciting
People stop
Looking on admirably
These are how
I spend my days preferably
As the sun dips down
Behind the trees
Lovers sit upon my knee
Heads ducked together
Whispering sweet nothings
Every coin inside my being
Holds a promise
Of someone's thoughts and dreams
I keep them safe
