Sector 7.

When you fell to the ground
I was the first you'd meet
Now it's said that we are bound
Like rolling lands to the wheat
You had fallen in a field
I fell in the streets
I still had my wings
But here they won't hear of these things
the music water carries
In the planes
And on fairies
Brings music to the people
And they erect a steeple
From the hoods and trunks
Of Buick regals
Called it a concert hall
There it would echo
The people say hello
You enjoy the tempo
You just want to stay
Never wanting it to change
Then the music stopped
And in the parking lot
And the crowed parted ways
And parted out
Waiting for a drumroll
Or the singer to shout
One more time
One last number

Forward to us to appease the gods
Of lightning and thunder
It began with the sound of the rain
In through the gates the people came
Participated in mass histeria
All the guts and the glory of
The moment it begins
Then it clears up again
And they all share the same sky
Never asking how or why
Places like that die
Without good girls and guys
To be an example
Of how to gamble
Always walking away
And shining a light in darkend day
Where troubles lie in wait
And a rip current rides peaceful ways
I will be your anchor
I couldn't do it with out you
So be sure to thank her
For me
Because I've got to leave
I've got my own sector
To tend to
So I will leave this letter
I leave it to you
In it I tell the truth
When I fell in this land
I was a man
And I'll forever posses youth
From where I am now
I'm not going to tell you how
There's no manual
Or how to
You just do…
Or you don't…
You will or you won't
From how high you fly
To where you flownt
Only you and I have ever known
How to break the silent tone
That kept the guitars from screaming
In the sun we were tamed
Then we heard from the band
That the amps were finally done bleeding
And they took the sound with them
Both of us knew when it happened
We don't speak of it
Though every once again for a little bit
You can still hear the chorus in you're head
Whether your working or in your bed
You dial in tune the radio
Once again there you go
You hear just the one song
That reminds you of that summer time sun
From another side of heaven
I call it sector 7.
