I'm trying to secure
my future for myself
and others
so I have more of a purpose
writing words
love and joy pain and hurt
hope and to feel secure
writing is who I am
as a friend and a woman
or simply sharing a memory
or plan the pain and triumph
helping others heal and share
showing we as people still do care
not just a word but of character
