Seeing "The Church" With New Eyes

'Seeing "The Church" With New Eyes'

Before I write this message, I want to put this following disclaimer out.
I am grateful for all the free food, clothing, hygiene products that I've received from church ministries & other organizations, including the "Rescue Mission".
This is important because, telling the cold truth is disturbing & offensive to so many people, no matter how delicately it is shared.
I really try hard to not talk about churches/religion/nonprofits because once upon a time, I served as a member of these entities.
I know what it's like to pray & assist the pastor's preparation behind the scenes.
I know what it's like to sit in the pew & the poolpit area.
I know what it's like to sing during devotional service, pass the collection plate, organized dinner tables/chairs, set the speakers up & pass the microphone.
I know what it's like to recite scripture, give an opening prayer, sing in the choir & be apart of a sermonic illustration.
I know what it's like to make mistakes, become misunderstood & endure WITCHCRAFT... inside the church building.
I know what it's like, when you hear a sermon & you fight yourself not to fall asleep. I know what it's like when you hear everyone say "AMEN!", but you know so much more than what it is that they are agreeing on.
I have kept my eyes open, after the host instructed the congregation to close their eyes during prayer.
I've seen the fear & the adjustments made when they noticed, that I identified the facade that some churches were putting on.
I know what it's like to attend 4-5 services in one day. I know what it's like to experience a funeral or home going service, the sadness, the regret, the phonies & everything in between, that is tied together.
When you grow in Jesus, & you try to go all the way, you realize that "church" is woven with the fabric of MONEY, POLITICS & FAVORITISM.
When you grow in Jesus, you read the bible for yourself, allow the anointing to direct you & STAND ALONE.
