It took me awhile to feel I belong
But lately, everything's going wrong
Now that my heart is sure
There's sadness it endures
I needed time to make up my mind
I had to be sure it's what I wanted
Still I can't pretend life's kind
Not when I'm always the hunted
If anything should ever go wrong
I want you to know I'll be fine
Even though I can't be strong
I'll learn to process the pain
