still comes at a cost.
But a price worth paying.
But not easily bought
It can be given away,
but consider it borrowed.
Because you might have it now,
and have to give it back tomorrow.
"It's better to have loved and lost
than to have never loved at all".
Do you think the man that said that
had ever taken that fall?
Do you think he was the happiest man
who had ever been miserable?
Or the loneliest man
waiting for a miracle?
Whatever the case may be.
Love is a nightmare and also a dream.
It brings out the best in you
and the worst in me.
And somehow it makes sense
in the grand scheme of things.
