Set me free, my heart cries out
To feel the wind and hear the shout
Of nature's voice that calls to me
And sets my spirit soaring free.
I want to run through fields of green
And breathe the air that's fresh and clean
To lose myself in forest shade
And feel the earth beneath me laid.
But freedom's not just in the land
It's in the heart where love expands
And self-love is the key to find
The freedom that can free our mind.
So let me love myself enough
To break the chains and rise above
And soar upon the wings of love
That take me to the skies above.
For in this love I find the grace
To free myself from every place
And know that freedom's not just found
In nature's beauty all around.
So set me free to love and be
The person that I long to see
And know that love and nature's grace
Will always be my resting place.
