When I was filled with anxiety
you sat next to me
when I walked in circles
you tagged along with me
I felt your presence
yet couldn't feel your touch
I saw your fallen shade
yet I couldn't take cover
you were as though invincible
yet you feared the light
as dark as the night
yet in the presence of darkness
you board a flight
you're only a mirror
you're nothing but my figure
