Dark and dreary is the night creeping from out of sight in the deep shadows of the sky in the bright and beaming day dark shadow never stray far from you watching and waiting till the dark and dreary night without a light to show them blending in and becoming large and horrible chasing you wherever you go laughing with the creak of a door the thumps in your step alway their then the light reveals that they arnt so big and so scary like a child in a cloak on halloween they be smaller you turn off the light and they are big again you arnt scard at all you are bigger stronger older then you were before now the shadows are just there nothing to be afraid of in the dark and dreary night
