Thoughts, once masked, now unraveling,
Unaware of the depths I was traveling.
Yearning for a time when we were mere strangers,
Perhaps then love wouldn't be a danger.
If only I hadn't let love's grip take hold,
If only self-hatred and pain hadn't unfolded.
Late night texts and laughter, now a distant miss,
Yet I wish I never experienced such bliss.
Never sought clairvoyance, now I yearn,
To witness your essence as you depart, my concern.
Curiosity lingers, what lies beyond our galaxy's reach,
Wondering what you're made of, what lessons you'll teach.
I once believed I held the truth in my hands,
But you showed me I was blind, just seeing aurora's dance.
Lost, confused, weary, longing for restful sleep,
To undo the step I took, the memories I keep.
That road I walked, leading me to you,
Now adorned with a wreath of memories, bittersweet and true.
Already missing what was never mine to claim,
Lost the battle before the war drums could proclaim.
Lost you, never found, in this tangled maze,
Before "hola" could escape, it's "adieu" that plays.
In shattered illusions, our paths never aligned,
Yet I bid farewell, as our destinies unwind.
