She wanted to be happy
Have everything she desired
She wanted to be a star
Shinning so bring in the sky
She wanted nothing but love
And everything that came with it
A remedy for her sadness
it's all she needed
An antidote to cure her aching heart
Some little sunshine
Just to brighten her days
She was tired of the pain
Tired of the tears
For years she wanted to be free
Freed from the misery
Freed from her bitterness
Freed from the cloud of hatred
That filled her soul
She wanted to be freed from slavery
She yearned for nothing but freedom
She wanted to feel alive
Even if it'd last a second
Just to be able to sleep soundly
With no monsters tormenting her
She wanted to smile again
Without having to fake it
She wished someone would come save her
Save her from her self
I mean she needed someone to guide her
Guide her to the path
Of peace and harmony
She needed a sign that her
Saviour was on his way
Then one day
While she was at the verge of ending it all
With razors and pills
She heard a knock
Someone was asking to come in
In her heart
In her life
To come and rescue her
From all her troubles
He wasn't in a chariot
Nor was he a knight
He didn't have a shinning armour
Not even swords and guns
But within no time
He was able to make her smile
Not for a while but forever
He taught her how to be a fighter
He made her so strong
And everyone wrong
Who thought she wasn't able
He guided her
That with or without him
She'd still conquer her fears
Face her monsters
And emerg victorious
He dried her tears
Which for years kept on rolling down
Her cheeks like the fourteen falls
He showered her with love
Something she never had
He gave her everything
Everything money couldn't buy
By the way she became so happy
So fearless
So bold
So confident
And
She finally believed in her self
And most of all he taught her
How to survive without him.
