She sews the pieces of her broken skin.
One stitch at a time..and thinking about him.
Why did he do this
She cries..
And taking back all his lies.
It hurts but only for a minute or two.
Then she kind of knew
How he could make her believe
Believe in the hurt she receives.
Now she can walk out the door with her head held high.
Knowing it wasn't her who lied.
Whatever his problem was ..it wasn't hers to bare.
But knowing this woman, she will always care.
