T

She creeps, she crawls...

She sits there in her usual place,
Looking pitiful in her angered face.
Where did you take her, what have you done?
Another cold starry night, you did her wrong.
Laughter arises, straight from her mouth.
Is this what her story is turning about.

She holds tight a creature from her mind.
Another story, she left behind.
The sounds of sadness, she breathes heavily at night.
A horror story, would leave you in fright.
She creeps, she crawls, down this long corridor hall.
She creeps, she crawls, hoping not to fall.

Now don't mind me, when I say I get this horrified feeling inside.
Another draw back of what I thought had died.
She can't control what she brings to you.
Lift up, bend down, hide from what you see her through.
Another magnified illusion that comes into you.
Hold back, breathe in, horrified from what is true.

She carries forth what came to her, but disappears in the dead of the night.
What she saw, she reaps, what a fright.
I believe there can't be anything worse than being alone.
She creeps, she crawls, a sacred heart, was hers to own.
Imagine you and I and what we believe was true.
She creeps, she crawls, at no ideal pace, but through and through.
