She ate
Like she'd never eaten,
Devouring every piece
Gulping down the sweet juice,
She couldn't help but stare
As the young man was still there,
Slightly in fear
She wished for him to disappear
But wait,
He was her Angel
Saved her from hunger
And was about to save her from the streets,
After her meal
He streched out her hand,
Offering her a walk
So that maybe they'd talk,
For the first time ever
Light shone on her,
She held his hand
And they journeyed the streets,
She talked not so fluent
But the gent understood,
He took her to a children's store
They were about to chase her
But the Gent was with her,
Still in fear
She smiled of joy,
They wondered the streets
Thinking she'd sleep on her rugs again,
The youn man walked her to his car
And asked her;
'Will you be my daughter?"
Never knowing where she came from
Who she call mom and dad,
She shook her head,
A nod of a acceptance
A nod of rejoice,
In her rugged clothes
She left
A goodbye to the streets
And hello to a home
But that's not all.....
To be continued. ...
