My friend and I
have traveled so far in life,
She caused me sorrow, she caused me strife.
We both learned more about each others strengths and weaknesses.
But to each others wrongs, we had confessed.
I always tried to correct her wrongs
Sometimes I wasn't standing very strong.
With 2 daughters of my own
She was like another one, but grown.
With many ages we were apart.
But I cared deeply for her and felt I need to guide her from my heart.
Now she has 3 sons of her own, and a nice man in her home.
Our friendship faded in time
But this girl, needed to shine.
She was like my little sister that i had to keep in line.
She was my life I left behind.
