They were love birds,
her thought was what drove smile to his face at night,
before sleep would show up to subdue him every night.
He thought, he had gotten to his bus stop,
that finally, his lonely sentence has had a full stop.
he thought their love would defy all obstacles,
that they would march on all challenges,
on their way, with their hands hugging each other tightly.
No wonder he didn't waste time to build in the future a castle,
with him as the king, and her as the queen of the castle.
His delight is in the pretty smile and laughter,
her face blesses humanity with.
He never let go of her in any of his thoughts and plans.
He was so in love. Same was she, was what he thought.
Until she struck his heart with her farewell,
and left his world, where she was the ruler.
Shattered by the news, he begged her to stay.
But she wouldn't! "I love you, I really do, but the mountains are too high",
she said to him. But that was a big lie!
She only left him for greener pasture,
she couldn't see him have any pasture.
If she wasn't myopia, she would have seen him
building for her, a one of kind greener pasture.
While he was building, she was scouting.
...her eyes were everywhere but on him.
