she dances in the moonlight,
oh what a beautiful sight.
The sounds of her cries,
Oh what a beautiful lie.
What turned her this way,
I really couldn't say.
She loved and lost,
Oh how she paid the cost.
Now when you look out to the moon.
Not a word mumbles, oh to soon.
She lost and loved and lost again.
This hurting, oh should end.
She walks down the street
with your hand, oh she greets.
Nothing but her own shame.
No one but her to blame.
