She Raised Me Like a storm

She Raised Me Like a storm
Once, I was a child—
but not the kind the world expected.

While others were taught to whisper,
my mother taught me to roar.

While they learned to bend,
I learned to rise—
unshaken, unafraid.

She didn’t raise me to fit in,
she raised me to stand out—
bold, fierce, and unapologetically mine.

“Walk on your own terms,” she said.
“Protect your fire.”
“Never shrink to make the world comfortable.”

In a time
when girls were shaped into silence,
stitched into obedience,
turned into shadows of themselves—
my mother broke every rule
and rewrote me.

She taught me—
freedom is not given,
it is claimed.

That speaking up
is not defiance,
it is power.

She didn’t hide me from storms,
she turned me into one.

She showed me
how to build my own sky,
how to shine even with scars—
not as wounds,
but as proof
that I fought,
that I survived,
that I became.

“Fly high,” she said,
“but never forget your roots—
they are your real strength.”

She never told me
to win the world’s approval,
only to win my own respect.

And when I reached for fire,
too young, too curious—
she didn’t stop me.

She smiled and said,
“Let her learn.
She is stronger than the flames.”

Now I know—
my mother was never ordinary.

She was a warrior,
a revolution,
a force the world couldn’t contain.

She didn’t just raise me—
she forged me
from courage,
from pain,
from relentless love.

And today,
when I stand tall, fearless, unstoppable—

I don’t just see myself.
I see her.

Not just my mother—
but a goddess
who created a storm
and named it me.
