It hurt her so much to admit that she was wrong.
But holding on so long, she wasn't strong.
Her tears fell hard like rain drops.
But they were much to powerful to stop.
He saw how much she was hurting,
But that didn't stop him from flirting.
It made him feel better, it fed his ego.
But as much as she hurt she still loved him so.
Countless nights, her heart was breaking.
Her soul was aching,
But to watch her fall on her face, to him it felt breathtaking.
He knew the cards were in his hands,
Whatever he would say, she would do, he took his stand.
If ever he took her back in his life,
It would be, to be his wife.
