She Was

Words wouldn't do justice to describe the type of woman she was. She was a hopeless romantic, with dreams of being together with the only person she ever loved, for the rest of forever. Faithful to the idea of always being loved, and loving back. Bending over backwards, her love knows no limits. You would think all would be well for such a caring heart. But all good things must come to an end and for her, this love would be her last.
The person she was willing to give her life to, had different intentions. The kind heart she gave away had been lied to. See his I love you's were never what he could do for her, but what she could do for him. If the eyes could speak what they see, her's would be a novel all about him. Intelligent as she was loving, she caught on to the ever growing lies. There's two sides to every phone, and I'm sure you can guess the one she saw most. Her dreams of marriage to the only person she ever loved, dieing as fast as his interests for someone else was growing. She shied away from confrontation, and ignored the red flags that he was showing. Many nights she went to bed alone, with him not at home she laid there crying. She never did find the heart to speak up. What once made her feel so alive, slowly killed her inside.
Time went on, as well as the lonely nights. He ran off, blaming her for his departure. Feeling what she grew to know as love, soon became her demise. She as strong as she was fell, and hit rock bottom. Her dreams she once had were now gone. She so caring and so loving, was now burdened with a void in her life. Having given all the love and not receiving any. Sleepless nights soon came to a stop and tears dried up. I said before words would never do justice to describe the type of woman she was. Because the indescribable words, she was. Until she couldn't take it anymore...
