She Who God Keeps

She Who God Keeps

My ancestor whispered in my ear as I cried,

"Let me tell you why some love just dies.

You wonder why they walk away?

Why hearts don’t hold, why men don’t stay?"

"It’s not your flaw, it’s not your lack —

It’s God Himself who’s got your back.

You’re not just anybody’s prize —

You’re heaven’s work, too rare for lies.

“Ever wonder why they vanish fast?”

Like one day close, the next

— they unveil the mask.

No warning sign, no reason why,

Just ghosted you without goodbye.

But that’s not loss — that’s love divine,

A holy shift, a clear sign.

You’re not for all, you're set apart,

A sacred flame, a beating heart.

God shaped you with a careful hand,

Not meant for boys who misunderstand.

You’re not some toy for careless play,

You’re purpose wrapped in light and clay.

You're pressure-formed, a diamond bright,

Forged in fire, kissed by light.

And diamonds don’t just go on sale,

They're hidden deep, behind the veil.

The Lord said, “No, not this one here —

She walks with angels, don’t come near.

I won’t allow her worth to sink,

Or let her break by how they think.

So when they leave, don’t feel the pain,

That’s heaven working in your name.

Removing hands not sent to hold,

Protecting you from hearts gone cold.

You’re covered by the Great I Am,

Not touched by just some random man.

It takes a soul both true and wise

To earn the right to stand beside.

Some men feel it — they just know,

That if they harm you, heaven’ll show.

They sense the weight, they feel the heat,

So they retreat in quick defeat.

It’s not that you were not enough,

It’s that your covering’s too tough.

They fear the wrath your name can bring

When handled wrong — a sacred thing.

So don’t chase what God made flee,

Let peace be your decree.

He’s saving space, He’s keeping pace,

Preparing love that moves with grace.

You are royal — born to shine,

A masterpiece of God's design.

So trust the loss, embrace the clear,

The right one’s drawing near, my dear.
