Shorelines

It was a dusk of May
But I could no longer see the pale crimson light
Which by now, should begin to veil its rays behind the curtain clouds
I could no longer hear the chirps of birds flying around the cerise scale of the mid summer air
The bliss of the wasps on the cluster of green meadows
The soar of the gentle breeze embracing the sun-kissed shorelines
It was no more scenic than it used to be
The only thing stayed unchanged
Was the remnants of rocks
Where used to dance our grace
Where we used to shout our sighs
And a pact-to never leave each side
I cried as the haunts past the vanished footprints
But no more tears shed
No more sobs heard
The shore became blurry lines
And I could barely hear the growling soars of waves
Until everything went pitch black
I felt calm
My lips drew curve of no more sorrow
But of greater ease
Lying on the sand dunes on my hand with a vile
I gave my last long sigh,
'Finally' I thought to myself.
