I mixed mine with yoghurt
You had yours on toast
Now we'll just have to wait
Hope we'll not overdose
An hour passed by
Still no difference in mind
Perhaps it's for the better
As we began to unwind
Then of a sudden
My entire body went lame
Couldn't move my limbs
Couldn't remember my name
Sounds and shapes became
Synonymous entities
As the universe warped
Into unfamiliar identities
There were bursts of energy
In the scintillate starlit skies
Except they weren't stars
They were tears crystallized
Curious patterns emerged
Braiding with the fabric of reality
My mind could not conceive
This dazzling irrationality
Where there once was a moon
There was now this gaping cavity
Emitting billions of vibrant hues
Showering the heavens unnaturally
What a sight to behold
Adrenaline rushed through my veins
Hypnotic hallucinogenic psychedelic
Narcotics messing with my brain
With heightened perception
I disarmed my mental defence
Absorbed every brilliant beauty
Went along with this fleeting pretense
And then it was abrubtly over
This mesmeric manufactured high
Down down down I descended
To an existence I could not qualify
