Sometimes I remain silent
And it's not because I have no confessions to make .
It's not because I have no hearts to break .
I too have an agonizing cry in my soul impossible to tame .
And if by now you haven't heard mine , it's not because you haven't listened.
But rather that I won't let you make me become like you ,
So filled with satisfaction in other people's pain and heartache.
So I remain silent.
To escape all of unreasonable hate .
Not because I too have no "I love you 's" to fake .
