Silence Of The Night

In the silence of the night,
In the pale moonlight,
Someone whispers in my ears.
This is when I start to fear.
I hear some knocks at the door;
It scares me even more.
Somebody is watching me.
I pretend to sleep silently.
The curtains dancing in the air.
Maybe someone's standing there.
I'm too scared to open my eyes,
I can feel my heart beat rise.
I shiver under my blanket;
Badly sweating, all wet!
I eagerly wait to see daylight...
When will end this terrible night?
I hear footsteps beside my bed.
It came closer, and it said,
"Okay, I leave you one more night,
Let's wait until next moonlight.
But tomorrow, we will surely play,
Kid, don't worry what people say.
You will have to be my friend,
Otherwise, something scary may happen."
I open my eyes quickly;
There's nobody around, only me.
There was just the pale moonlight,
In the silence of the night.
