B

Silent Words Overflow.

With closed eyes, my mind takes flight
Words come forth, with all their might
They wish to be spoken, to be heard
Yet, I stand silent, without a word
They persist, these words invade
My thoughts, my being, with no aid
I cannot speak, I have no voice
But these words, they leave no choice
They turn into feelings, emotions deep
Yet, I'm unable to express, to keep
The silence grows, the words build up
Till they overflow, like a teacup
But still, I dare not speak aloud
The fear, the uncertainty, it shrouds
I cannot even write them down
For without my pen, they'll make me drown
The words, they become a weight
A burden, that I cannot abate
My pen, once a friend, now a knife
Cutting, bleeding, the words take life
I'm forbidden to write, unable to speak
The silence, a prison, for my mind to keep
And so, I fade away, lost in this strife
For these words, they've become my life.
