Silk Romance

Fall's fairwell maiden's twilight shines down a song.
Pouring illumination when the sun's glare is gone.
It serenades the pain of when fate stole my only chance,
to say: bury me softly underneath 'your silk romance. ..'
Fall's farewell maiden's twilight dancing with Mercury.
Her memory's heart omits a commendable dirge for me.
The rolling grace slipped through the hallows of mistakes,
so I chased her shadow to deterr the deterioration ache.
Choked copper thoughts now cloud my teal teary eyes;
their zeal  is leaving my bones fully decalcified.
Her fleeing footsteps left a forlorn trail I couldn't find,
to show blotched ink disclosing she misread my rhyme.
Spoonfuls of caviar don't match the expense of appeal,
to the vibe your amber painted hair made me feel.
Seldom believing life will bestow an opportune glance,
to say: 'bury me softly underneath your Silk romance...'
The raven's pedagogy taught me fluent rhetoric,
but she seemed to despise the parabolic dialect.
Nostalgia sunk through me like a ship in a storm.
Pitiful to think with her I once would be adorned.
Now watching the recession of a once boundless brink;
Lost in the perdition of forever's fervor lost in a blink.
Fall's farewell maiden swooning from love-sick lullabies;
The repetition of my asking how I went awry.
In retrospect, I Willed myself to become her
disguise,
sewn from fabric I fabricated from everlasting lies.
So there's no blame to be pointed at misleading treachery;
I reacted to signals, but failed to match the frequency.
Knight in rusted armor armed with dead rose's in hand,
thinking I'm loosing glass, but never possessed the sand.
Sarcastically the cosmos laughing in a sardonic trance,
whispering to say:
'bury me softly underneath your Silk romance.'
