Take me back to simple times,
When the littles things were seren,
When I could take all my worries away,
Those precious moments that fell in between,
When I was young and unaware of life,
Nieve to the struggle and immune to pain,
When all my hopes and dreams were still real,
And I felt I had the whole world to gain,
The simple times of my life have faded,
It feels impossible now for me to find release,
Oh take me back to the simple times,
A time in my life where I could find some peace.
