Simplicity

Every single blade of grass
is lit with unique tones of fascination,
as the sun beams down
attentive rays of life upon them.
They do not kill or maim one another,
or struggle for the greatest
portion of this light,
as if to hoarde it in gluttony.
Nor do they seek to isolate the most generous or substantial parts for
want of grandiose ambitions.
They simply are, and the light simply is,
and everything else pales with
comparative insignificance.
