It took that snap
that slap
that tap on the shoulder
I couldn't drag it off me
I couldn't even see
beyond that boulder
I got swept away
nothing to say
I was numb
frozen inside
everything was happening so quick
yet all of it seemed to have stopped
confusion,oblivion,distraction
I was drowning in air
sinking in illusion
but like the wind she passed me by
hadn't even said hello
it was already goodbye
my once shining halo
left for the by and by
sinking in emotion
all the beauty just but a glance granted me
for just like that
she was no more
