Siren of Happiness

Happiness is when you see your mother's glowing face after a long day's work;
Happiness is when you feel most protected in your father's embrace;
Happiness is when your brother taunt you unrelentingly;
Happiness is when you receive your grandmother's call;
Happiness is when you listen to your grandfather's toil to eke a living;
Happiness is when you inherit your parents' attributes;
Happiness is when you witness their gradual transformation into infants;
Happiness is when they profoundly depend on us for sustenance;
Happiness is when they envision us established;
Happiness is when you contribute moderately to the overall extravagance of the family;
Happiness is when they can't see us sobbing;
Happiness is when they cling to us for mental strength and support;
Happiness is when you have people to celebrate every trivial accomplishments.
Without a family, all great accolades would seem irrelevant and insignificant.
Happiness is an utopian state of being, where we eternally long to dwell;
Which lies at the very core of the family.
