Tucked away for decades
In a dusty cigar box
There is a key
For every kind of lock,
A key for the cellar door
A key for the for opening
Hearts that were hurt before
Yes, a key for most anything,
I once gave you my love
It came back broken
My desires I locked away
With no words spoken,
The lock in the cigar box
Had over decades rusted
No magical oil nor spell can
Release a heart that once trusted,
A key for most anything
Sealed in an old cigar box
No one will soon again find
The skeleton key to the lock.
