As I'm trying to sleep

Thoughts twirl around

My mind goes beep

At every little sound

As I'm laying to rest

Thinking goes frantic

My brain is a pest

It runs very erratic

My mind , it runs amuck

My mind , it gets stuck

My mind , it has a bug

My mind , all I say is ugh!!!

My mind , im out of luck

As I'm there relaxing

My head goes hay wire

Inside there's laughing

Rapid and very hyper

As I'm counting sheep

Hoping to drift away

Scenarios begin to seep

My imagination is at play

My mind , it runs amuck

My mind , it gets stuck

My mind , it has a bug

My mind , all I can say is ugh!!!.

My mind , I'm out of luck

As I'm wondering-When?

Will my brain shut down?

I'll be able to sleep then

I'll be back to level ground

My mind , is on a rollercoaster

My mind , burns like a toaster

My mind , it runs much slower

My mind , it needs some closure
