A slinky wraps itself around me
Because I took that little red pill
Not so much fun as it used to be
And so I struggle to escape.
All I want is to silently slip away
But it turns out that when I try
The darkness of this world
Plays a game that I cannot win.
And as I play this crazy game
I try to shuffle the slinky off
But I find that it won’t let me go
And so I’m losing once again.
So much for a Wonderland
Where all I seem to do is lose
Bound up slinky tight I am
So I will not take that pill again.
