I slipped...
I fell,
heart down, head up
hoping no one could tell
masquerade of optimism
walking an unmarked trail
seeking heaven
going through hell...
while my emotions parallel
an endless yell..hellllllllpp
I slipped...
I fell,
downtrodden but fed up
knocked down but powered up
weight of the world on my shoulders
I shake it off then stand up...
God is my guide
so by faith I take a stride
burden lifted
started to glide
the battle! is in the mind!
VICTORY IS MINE!!!...
I fell....then stood up.
