Slow Start

Sparked the new stove, the still air sounds louder

Spring water, cloves, unseal the brown powder

Get my hops in, bloods been flowin

Check my options, love seein em growin

Sunlight giving that melanin boost

River singing, spirits lettin loose

Back to the stove, waters now boilin

Chewin on cloves, plants need soilin

Pour in a few herbs, let the leaves seep

Out to the garden, lively yet discreet

Oxygenated medication,

Ruah brings bliss in me

Give the trees my salutations

Prayers up, enriches me

Getting set for meditation

The light breeze kisses me...
