The meadow so rich with snow, captivates me.The snowflakes dancing around me, I watch from my throne of ice.Now flowing, i follow the white blanket trail, back to the house so full of ashed memories.
Walking I see an ear, then a head to my surprise a prince!White as the snow, memories flourish as he comes nearer. His caress, silking my heart with desire.
Rain starts to fall as I watch through a glass prison.War beseeching my once clear mind.I race across the clearing, watching as my ice cold heart is warmed by the return of my snowdrop prince.
Savoring my time for the shortness of it is pending ever so closely. When my smile brightens his instead of his dark and lifeless ones.I'm afraid now, I wont have the chance to brighten his.
Once again I'm at my ice throne, catching glimpses of my lifeless body.Of my prince who could not save me.One day I may be reborn for that rain-drop prince who saved me so long ago.
