I can't give my soul to you
I trust that should be my dirty linens too
I it's my soul confinement
But on this very day I beg to differ
I can't remember who I was when I left home
Wanted to see the faces of life
Before I leave my claim of it
I remember to take a stroll in it
Am a sojourner
I can't remember when I left home
It must have been too late
Can't seem to relay the numbers
Wanted to see the world as it is
Not as its told
Wanted to see its faces and touch it's gills
Wanted to feel it's warms and savour it's chill
To tell a story that is almost real
Because nothing can be realer than real
We all have a story to tell
I want to tell my story of it
The story of how I ride and smile
Am just a sojourner
Writing down my tale
Hoping you might once once more
I your journey of life.
