B

Solitary soul's contentment.

I am but a solitary soul,
With only myself to console,
I do not care for your name,
Or for whom you might claim to fame.
I am content with who I am,
And where my path might scamper,
I do not care who you might be,
Or what you choose to fancy.
I cherish the company of my own,
And the peace in my tranquil zone,
I do not care where you might roam,
Or with whom you might call your own.
I take solace in the beauty around,
In the simple joys that surround,
I do not care for your material gain,
Or the status that you might feign.
For I am but a soul content,
With the blessings that life has sent,
I do not care who you are,
Or what you might choose to declare.
For I am happy in my skin,
And the peace that I find within,
I do not need your validation,
Or your constant admiration.
I choose to live life on my terms,
Without any social norms or firm,
I do not care for your judgments or rules,
Or your opinion on what I should pursue.
I am content with my own thoughts,
And the battles that I have fought,
I do not care for your approval,
Or the labels that you might use to disapprove.
For I am but a solitary soul,
With my own journey to unfold,
And though I may cross paths with you,
I will still stay true to my own view.
For in the end, it's my life to live,
And my own peace to give,
I do not care for your opinion or strife,
For I am happy with the way I live my life.
