I'm glad your still here
I missed you all my dears
I've been off, in a prison in my head
I've always been near
Off fighting fear
Came home, I nearly wound up dead
And all the papers read
They misquoted what I said
When I spoke of a holiday
They would not retract
The words would not redact
So here's what I have to say
Simply the matter, has been left to the grey.
The soil was soaked with blood
The war was over love
There were things I couldn't condone
I asked you're God above
To show me what was love
He said for me, it lyes within your poem
And that I must find it alone
Thought that was rather cruel
Felt I've been made a fool
My tools, weapons the paper and pen
So here we go again
I asked where should I go
For I, do not know
He said go back to the, down low....
And keep your heart froze
No need to stay on your toes
Cause your woes and foes
And this life you've chose
The gypsy's rose
Your ragged clothes
All the cons and pros
Is all the world from which you've grown
Your traveling bone
And your sovereign tone
You've honed
The seeds you've sewn
The light you've shown
Is why I brought you home
So rest.... your troubled mind
And....
Your solivagant soul...
