Some of us don’t cry online,
don’t post our wounds,
don’t announce
when life is heavy.

We carry storms in our chest
and still ask others
if they’re okay.

We give love
with cracked hands,
hope with tired eyes,
and faith
even when doubt
sleeps beside us.

If you ever meet someone
who feels calm,
gentle,
and understanding,
know this:
they learned peace
