Today an abundance of food
Was delivered to my door
As I haven't been able to go to Food Bank
I really could not ask for more...
I ask her as to why she did this for me
"What did I do to deserve such a bounty???"
She said "You loaned me 20$ when I had nought
I accepted the abundance graciously...
I asked my Creator what for her I could do
I was told that she was getting short of money
My Creator decided I should give her 15$
It may have been cloudy but her face was sunny...
Now with four whole chickens and taters
Plus the weather is getting right for a stew
I'll make something healthy... a virus fighter
Yes, this is exactly what I shall do...
Now my two lady neighbors shall have
A tasty Sunday meal to savour
For when Sunday Night football comes on
THAT'S a Sunday with EXTRA flavour...
There's much to be said when
It comes to paying forward to pay forward...
