Sometimes I get depressed

Sometimes I get depressed,
Feeling lost and alone,
In the depths of my mind,
Where shadows are thrown.
The weight on my shoulders,
Feels heavy and real,
It's hard to find comfort,
Or even to feel.
But then comes a glimmer,
A small ray of light,
A voice deep inside,
Saying, "It will be alright."
I hold onto that hope,
Like a lifeline it seems,
And slowly but surely,
I emerge from my dreams.
I reach out for help,
From those who are near,
Their love and support,
Help chase away fear.
Sometimes I get depressed,
But I'm not alone,
There are hands reaching out,
To help me find home.
So for anyone feeling,
Lost in the dark,
Remember you're loved,
You're making your mark.
The clouds will soon part,
The sun will shine through,
And you'll find your way,
I believe in you too.
Depression is a battle,
But it's one we can win,
With love and with hope,
We'll find peace within.
Sometimes I get depressed,
But I hold onto faith,
That brighter days are coming,
No matter how late.
If you're feeling this way,
Please don't lose sight,
Of the love that surrounds you,
And your own inner light.
You're stronger than you know,
And you're not on your own,
Sometimes we all stumble,
But we're never alone.
So let's lift each other up,
With kindness and care,
And together we'll find,
The strength to repair.
Depression may visit,
But it won't have the last say,
For we'll keep on fighting,
And we'll find our own way.
