The thoughts left unspoken
Kept me awake
Knowing I couldn't hurt you
If I kept them away
Battling with my mind
On when and what to say
I was strangled by those thoughts
That could never see day
Finally I let go
And scrambled to enjoy peace
Until I realized you too had no words
You too could not speak
The silence though deafening is warm
It chokes me of breath but I do not resist
I'll enjoy every moment
Till it's silent no more
