Shakespearean Sonnet: Respect This Sea
If I could really put my soul to word,
I’d be a turning Arctic Ocean blue.
The depths are almost always rather blurred,
I am constantly finding something new.
My emotions like the wildlife around,
Alert yet liable, there to cherish.
They sit, and wait, and watch, from the background,
Don’t force them or they will quickly perish.
Be careful, though, not to meddle with me,
This frigid ocean has a darker side.
An icy wrath turns to a swirling sea,
Attackers battered in a deadly tide.
So please, respect this little ocean here,
Do this, and you will have no need to fear
