he staggered through the night
making waves and paves
eager to have a rewrite

not ready to back off, he said
with hot tears and sorrowful eyes
he was coerced to sin
forced to survive at a hard cost
on account, leaving tainted prints
severed wings and a bloody apparel
he is due for a second chance
he is due for forgiveness
